This page explains what personal data we collect when you apply to a TSUCHI Journey programme or contact us, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Only what you type into the application form: your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), your restaurant or organisation, the programme you are applying for, and anything you write in the free-text message. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, so we do not build a profile of your browsing.
To read and answer your application, to select participants for a limited number of places, to send you practical information about the programme you applied for, and to keep a record of the arrangements we make with you. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing to people who did not ask for it.
Applications are stored in a managed cloud database operated on our behalf by our hosting provider, protected by access rules so that only the organising team can read them. Data may be processed on servers inside and outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual safeguards.
Applications that do not lead to participation are deleted within 24 months. Records connected to an actual booking are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, and then deleted.
Our hosting and database provider, our email provider, and — if you buy a festival ticket or pay for a programme — the ticketing and payment provider you are redirected to. Each of them processes your data only to deliver their part of the service. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Write to the email below and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
We never see or store your card details. Card payments and festival tickets are handled entirely by our ticketing and payment partners on their own systems, under their own privacy policies.
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date shown below.
